Cambodia to study buffalo milk to solve nutritional deficiency in children

The government will initiate a study on the feasibility of introducing buffalo milk to solve nutritional deficiency in children, with many suffering from stunting, wasting and underweight due to inadequate vitamins or minerals in the body.

The Agriculture Ministry will embark on the Multi-Sectoral Food and Nutrition Security Project (MUSEFO) study, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented by the German Development Cooperation Deutsche Gesellschafts für International Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
