Our social enterprise is dedicated to supporting the local community and environment.
We provide full-time employment for 40 local staff members, an additional income stream for buffalo owners, training on animal husbandry skills, free English classes, and year-round nutritional programs for Lao children.

About the business
We are working with villages in the Luang Prabang region of Laos to open the first Buffalo dairy to produce buffalo cheese and a range of dairy products. This is providing income and a sustainable future for the Lao people involved.
Our story
Four expatriates living in Singapore discovered that they were ready for a new adventure (aka a mid-life crisis with a purpose rather than a Porsche) : And so began Laos Buffalo Dairy.

Laos Buffalo Dairy has a Local and international team with a combined wealth of experience. We have come together in Luang Prabang and are excited to be involved in launching this new industry in Laos.
